Merry Christmas, I'm off to work. I got to go out to Austin County to see my mom and sister, that was really nice. Hope everyone has a decent holiday, hope I see everyone before New Years.

I actually got a *good* junk e-mail today. I forget who was listed as the sender, but the subject line was "sup Raul?"

I got this e-card thing last week, and it wished me a very metal thanksgiving, or rather a cornucopia of metal. This is both hilarious and accurate, as I spent my thanksgiving in the cash room at work with my CDs. Our general entries balance both matched and ROCKED. What's that you say, how can something as boring as a general entries balance rock? When I do it, that's when. There was a doodle of a little guy headbanging on one of the rough copies. Too bad Shorb never saw that one.

I finally got around to seeing School of Rock. It was just a touch too family oriented, but still fun. Jack Black soloing in the face of a bunch of kids was amusing.

I got back in touch with an old friend from my high school days, she's been up in north texas for about 3 years. It was refreshing to see that some people get even cooler, and better with age.

Have you ever been able to tap your feet to cello music? No? Then go check out a group called Apocalyptica, they cover a bunch of metal songs... on four cellos. It's so cool I can't even put it into words. And it's actually good too, not just some orchestral arrangement; it sounds like the original song.

That, and I recommend you go see a bunch of 80's action movies. I watched Robocop the other day, and I realized just how ridiculous the villains were. I mean, you get cold, professional, brutal, ruthless people today like the killer in Seven, Hannibal Lecter, things like that. But The guys in those 80's movies... I swear they're all crack babies. I mean, who says "outta sight!" while mutilating a cop? Really, people.

Saw pictures of Ashleigh backstage from her Pericles show. Some kinda bondage thing. Hmm.

Know what I did at work today? I got paid to rock out to Pantera. Went upstairs and did some work and brought my CDs with me.

I found Robocop on DVD for $5. Score.
